The Dayton Early College Academy (DECA) is an open enrollment, public charter school serving K-12 students living in the city of Dayton.  Students are provided a quality, college-preparatory experience with an infusion of technology, parent engagement and supportive teachers.

Now comprised of three schools, PREP, Middle and High, DECA enrolls about 1,300 students primarily from urban, low-income households, and first-generation college students from minority backgrounds.  Our mission is to prepare future college graduates to become our community leaders tomorrow.

DECA has created a culture of no excuses and ensures 100% of graduates apply and are accepted to college before high school graduation.  The National Student Clearinghouse shows over fifty percent of DECA students graduating from college within six years--five times the national average for this demographic.
