For over 10 years, DECA has been amongst the highest performing school system in the city of Dayton providing a free, high quality school option for families residing in Dayton. All our graduates are admitted to college, and continue to graduate from college within 6 years at 54%.

We work hard to build relationships with our students and their families, to maintain high expectations for them, and to provide the support necessary for all to be successful regardless of zip code. We do all of this with like-minded individuals who share our passion. 

4. Intensive Support

DECA teachers receive ongoing coaching and mentoring designed to improve the quality of their instruction and their ability to engage their students effectively. They work hard, practice new skills, and own their results.
