Capital Campaign

Students in the hallway newly renovated at DECA High

We are well on our way to achieving the primary goal of our campaign to increase enrollment at the high school level, allowing us to serve students already in the DECA pipeline.

The renovation kicked-off in January of 2019 with the support of a Ohio Facilities Construction Commission Grant.  Ruetschle Architect and Bilbrey Construction have led renovation efforts.   The first Phase includes a new, secure school entrance, 9th grade classrooms, and extended learning spaces.  Phase 2 mirrors this with the 10th grade.  Phase 3, 4, and 5 have sailed along with the help of generous donors and our excellent construction team and Visionary, Steve Hinshaw.  We are now accepting pledges and donations for our final phase at the high school, Phase 6 - the Health and Wellness area for our students.

This final stage will complete our high school renovations with improved HVAC, restrooms, secure vestibule entrance, and student support offices for health and wellness all located at the southern most area of our building.  The standard cafeteria will be changed into an improved student nutrition location with food prep on site and even a fitness area for both staff and students to maintain optimal health.
