DECA is a non-traditional charter high school singularly focused on preparing first-generation urban students to go to college.

100% of our graduates go on to pursue higher education.

What distinguishes DECA from other urban high schools is the "we will go to college" mindset. Since the school's inception in 2003, DECA students have:

earned over 5,000 college credit hours while in high school
earned $7.6 million in scholarships and grants
completed 30,340 volunteer service hours

DECA was awarded an “Excellent with Distinction” rating by the state in its 2010 Report Card. DECA was the only school in the city of Dayton to receive this ranking.

We are pleased to announce the formation of DECA PREP, a new K-6 school designed to immerse students in a personalized, rigorous elementary curriculum to assure they will succeed in high school and college — and beyond!
